Higher Academia is now accepting students for the 2021-22 school year. We are partnering with Polk County Schools and other local agencies in providing a Community Learning Center for students. These could be students who are learning remotely or those who need internet access or extra academic support during the school year. The Community Learning Center provides a safe environment with internet access for students to come and complete schoolwork and receive learning support from volunteers. This site will follow all current health and safety guidelines, and all volunteers will be screened and required to pass a background check.
The Community Learning Center will open on September 14, 2021. Hours of operation are Monday through Thursday from 3:00 – 6:00 pm. Registration is required!
